February 2, 2020 - Appearance: pale ruby, with legs and petillance.
On nose : pronounced intensity, red fruit : sweet cherry, french oak vanilla, very pungent tobacco leaves, lichorice, thyme, pleasent and comfort, but not that complex.
On palate: med+ intensity flavour, med+ acidity, red fruit forward, cherry and plum skin, lichorice, tea leaves full body as high alcohol could be found. Med finishing with high tannin.
This is not a complex one but still have some structure in it. For blind testing, it is still a significant Italian style wine. I will say that it just like chatting with an old friend with pleasures. I would choose to drink it now as you can enjoy primary, secondary and territory flavours in balance.3 people found this helpful 1,886 views
