  February 3, 2020 - I rarely drink Cabs but was in the mood for one in the style that I imagine Leeuwin with a little age. This mostly delivered. It was very understated, with more red than black fruits. The acidity was fairly high, and I would have liked a little more fullness on the mid and back palette, but this is minor quibbling, and me wanting the wine to be more like the Cab I was imagining than the Cab that it was. However, this is extremely pleasant, and obviously comes from really nice fruit, as it was not covered in makeup, extraction, etc. At $30, in the current Cab market, this is quite successful.
