I drank several cases of various vintages from the late 90's to early 2000's and kept a few bottles in the cellar to see how long we can streatch the envelope with such a reasonably priced wine. have not had this vintage in a good 5 years and found the last bottle so pulled the cork. Still serviceable with faded fruit and now mostly dominates by tertiary herbs. The 2000 was not as good an aging wine as the bookend vintages around it but hey not a bad little number. Good vintages can obviously drink nicely for a decade or a little more which is a nice testament to the quality.
