February 7, 2020 - Wines for the Acker Merrall Bicentennial Auction (The Pool - New York NY): Small glass, brief note. Double blind. Clearly Leroy Vosne, I thought it charming with great red fruit, baking spice and balance, but not quite as dense as her Beaux Monts typically shows (so I thought this Genaivrières). Still, so wonderful now.

2/7/20, 7:06 PM - I'm confused. Were you noting the Beaux Monts and comparing it to another Leroy Vosne 1er Cru (Brulées, I guess), or was this another wine mistakenly entered and then compared to the Beaux Monts? Thanks for clarifying.
