  February 8, 2020 - Mike Smith Cabernet Night (Bobby Van's on Park, NYC): What happened since my last bottle in December 2018? The structure is gone. Better as an apertizer or cocktail wine. So disappointed, I thought it would age better. With 75% new oak, I would have thought there would have been some tannic structure. Just gobs of fruit. Although it did improve slightly over a 2 hour period.

  2/10/20, 6:19 PM - Thanks for the sanity affirmation. I was pretty much out there on my own with this. Am hoping that a couple of years will give this a chance to cool down and balance out and I'll be able to experience what others seem to have.
