  February 18, 2020 - Have had some great Hall bottles, however perhaps this was not my favourite. Dark black crimson to the eye, promised much. And the nose was strong and crisp, laden with fruit. However, the palate was too heavy with burnt oak. Even tho the suggested window is closing, I will leave these for another 5 years, as I think it has the legs to beat the oaking in the long run and settle down better.
