  February 5, 2020 - Tasted blind from decanter. Lots of aging notes including barnyard, earth, some mushrooms and leather with a rather dark berry fruit. A bit of an acidity overhang. Leather aromas resonate nicely on the on the palate for a good amount of time. This has developed very well and a treat for aged Bordeaux lovers. In my view, however, the muscle has already started to shrink and impact balance. Paired against Opus One 1996 this one came in clearly second. Drink up, would be my advice.
