Community Tasting Note

February 21, 2020 - This wine surprised me. If I'd tasted it blind I would have guessed an entry level Margaux. This is not your typical Napa Cab. It's not heavy or opaque, rather it's silky, elegant, long legged, restrained, with bright, lifted, minty fruit and finishes with notes of anise, mineral, and pyrazine and noticeable grip. I can't help but wonder if this was an outlier bottle.
