March 6, 2020 - La Paulée de New York - The Verticals (Eventi Hotel - New York NY): Walk around tasting in 13/11/09 vertical. Nearly ripe, nothing bitter, this is a very nicely balanced 2011. In its drinking window.

3/17/20, 7:11 AM - I had the day before at the Pre-Paulee dinner and it opened a little bitter but I came back to it at the end of the night and it was really nice. I still think it could use a few years based on that bottle.

Alas most La Paulée events don’t allow that, which is why I note that my note is from a walk around tasting, so that I know it is from a very small point in time.
