March 28, 2020 - Same bottle tasted in January, first from Coravin, then after pulling the cork, and on the following evening. Tantalizing bouquet of primarily ripe red fruits and berries (with purple berry accents), spring potpourri, and red fruit liqueurs, notably pomegranate and lingonberry. The indescribably complex middle saturates the palate with inflection-changing textural weights and perfect balance. Medium plus to high acid and subtle, medium powdery tannins provide a gracefully powerful frame.

The next evening revealed a truly elevated experience. All elements in perfect harmony. I will long remember taking in these last few ounces, from a mouth-blown Bordeaux stem. Striking purity, deeply satisfying. Left Bank Bordeaux does not get much better. Decant for 10 to 12 hours, or hold for 20+ years.
