  March 20, 2020 - Bottled in 2014 and disgorged February 14, 2016. Wow, this bottle was nearly a dead ringer for Ruppert-Leroy. Blind I'd never have guessed this was chardonnay. It was enjoyable but very marked by its strongly oxidative style. Half of the bottle left for day 2.
  On day 2, I'm humbled to find that this has somehow shed some of its oxidative personality and now shows more freshness. Very tasty, I definitely prefer this expression today. I'll hold my other bottles of this disgorgement for another year before revisiting.
