    two days later, the wine is in a much better shape. fruit is more present (blackberries), there's leather, tobacco, chocolate. the nose is more fragrant too, with pleasant florals and tar / earth. high acidity is still there but the tannins have been smoothed out quite a bit. still a bit coarse, but definitely more pleasant and approachable

    4/1/20, 1:06 PM - Typically strong tannins and acid indicate a lot of room for improvement, they will soften/integrate over time and reveal other nuances.
