  September 27, 2008 - Tasted with a flight of '89, '95, '98, '99, '00 & '01 Cos. All bottles decanted about 3 hours prior to tasting. Wow. Huge wine. Wonderful wet earth that I come to love and fine common in Cos with dark cherry or blackberry and pencil shavings on the palate. The tannins take time to soften but I have a feeling this will be monumentus wine in another decade, and at 70% the price of the 2000 Cos this is a steal. It has the potential to be as good as the '95 or even the '90.
