  April 17, 2020 - At 8 years of age this guy is still going strong. Super dark purple, almost black in color so no clarity in the glass.
  
  A touch tight at first but the nose opened up with blackberry, oak spices and hint of black pepper.
  
  On the palate this guy is well balanced, the tannin, alcohol and acids are nicely aligned. The black fruits are still front and center and complimented with some woody flavors and a peppery finish.
  
  Super tasty and easy to enjoy.
