  April 22, 2020 - Really quite nice. Nice dark fruit, smoky nose with a lot of complexity. Palate shows nice balance. Modest acid, well integrated tannin with a dry finish. Surprisingly good since 1998 isn't a great Napa year and Merus is supposed to be an early drinker. Pleasantly surprised. Nice finish.
