April 24, 2020 - Very much a French style done with powerful mountain fruit. My first Dunn and from what I understand very much what their style. Having said that it was interesting on its own but actually more enjoyable with food.

French is not my bag baby, but this was pretty good.

I moved past pure fruit bombs years ago and in fact can't even drink Caymus -like wines anymore. The 2017 Vintage seems to be dominated by wines I feel are WAY overdone. This Dunn did have a little of that French manure I still don't like but it quickly faded and left a different kind of wine that seemed to have both Napa and older French influences. I'm not totally corrupted but I do feel the "power of the Dark side"
