April 25, 2020 - 2009 disgorgement.
Appearance: golden yellow, with big and vivid bubbles.
On nose: med to med+ intensity, citrus: lemon, stone fruit: yellow apple, apricot, a hint of bready and yeasty aroma
On palate: med+ intensity flavor, very balanced acidity, with lemon, apple, lemon curd on front palate, leading to comfort and very pleasant touch on mid palate. Med alcohol with med+ body, vanilla, and pistachio savory flavor with only a little bitterness aftertaste.
It is surely a very balanced champagne in all aspects as I suspected that is because of the blend of 3 types of grapes : Pinot noir(40%), Meunier(20%), Chardonnay(40%) matched perfectly. My wife loves it so much and so do I. Really decent with finesse and delicacy. Cheers!1 person found this helpful 4,908 views
