    April 30, 2020 - Tried on 3 different nights (same bottle), twice in blind tests against other 2010 Brunellos, once on its own. A+ nose, fruit and some earth, maybe a bit of vegetation in there. Lots of fruit on the palate, not dense but rather elegant and lifted. Almost juicy, but with a defined edge to it and plenty of structure. The best showing Brunello at this point, but perhaps not the longest lived.

    I agree with your note - I found Il Marroneto to be a brighter style of BdM
