  October 29, 2008 - Another outstanding Purple Angel by Montes. I need to taste the 04 with the 05 but it appears to me that the consistency is right on for both of these vintages, as it seems that quality can differ, sometimes significantly (as is the case in Montes flagship wine the M) with Chilean estates. Like the 2004 the 05 Purple Angel has loads of dark fruit, with vanilla and toast. Needs a bit more time though but drinking quite well now.
