  May 21, 2020 - Aging gracefully is not easy... Bottle 5477. Youthful color and perfect cork. Reddish purple core decanted from fine grained sediment. Courageous and honest immediately on opening. Blushing berries, soy, leather, tobacco and a touch of iodine.
  
  Kissed with the wisdom of age. Tannins have softened to reveal the truth of the fruit, the influence of oak and the earth in the vineyard. Powerful and complicated dry wit, without being boorish. Incredible grace derived from solid heritage and from years of obvious careful nurturing.
  
  Lingering bright finish layers unfolding through to the classic pencil lead finish.
