  May 27, 2020 - This wine may be at or near its peak and is a great pairing with Keg-spiced steaks. The inky colour and medium legs offered a nose of tobacco, black pepper, lead pencil, cherry and black currant (cassis). The tastes were similar. It had a small amount of sediment with a smooth, medium finish with medium acidity. Overall a classic Beringer still holding its own almost 10 years later.
