Community Tasting Note

May 28, 2020 - A rather advanced bottle, but certainly sound to my palate. Slight note of petrol on the nose, followed by bruised apple, faint hint of sherry, waxy lime peel with searing acidity and a dry finish. This wine is at peak maturity, which, for 2013, could be viewed as encouraging (“hey, these bottles are really coming around and I don’t have to wait 10 years!”) or discouraging (“uh oh, that was fast”) depending on your viewpoint. Or maybe it’s just my bottle. I’d check in soon if I were you

7/4/21, 4:51 PM - Love the note and advice.
    Certainly should last longer.
Just had the 2018 which is nice, but cetainly too tough

7/4/21, 5:07 PM - They used to have these at Gabriels and I really liked them. We opened a 17 Joly Coulée de Serrant at Brian’s a few weeks ago and it blew my mind. Similar, in a way, to this but on another level. Glad to hear the 18 was nice
