  June 1, 2020 - Tough to rate. On the downside, too much cooked raisin notes that is off putting and distracting like many other '03s. Everything else is spot on. Power and depth. Layers of dark fruit, a little bramble and smoke. Good acidity, not flabby, despite the unfortunate impact of the hot year. Even better the second and third day. I'm sure other vintages are incredible, but tough to get past the raisins.
