June 5, 2020 - Dark garnet hues turning violet orange rust at the rim with a transparent edge. The nose is concentrated, while the palate is full-bodied, velvety, with ample acidity to balance the ripe fruits on slightly elevated alcohol levels. Flavors of black olives, tobacco, and smoked black currants form the core and finishes off really long and elegantly at the sides of the mouth with hints of eucalyptus menthol and dried oregano. Just beautiful to drink now until 2031.
