  June 6, 2020 - Volcanic soil for the slv compared to alluvial for the fay. This is the more masculine. Cask 23 being a blend of both but the best barrels. Always a quality wine and just fine in a cold year like 2010. Not as amazing as the 2005 I had a few years ago though. Dark profile. Very cab. Gravel and blackberries and dirt. Drinking just fine now and will age more.
