    June 11, 2020 - Day long decant.
    Deep purple, full bodied wine
Stewed fruit, leather notes, lingering licorice notes
Smooth, mature fruits and tannin. Easy drinking. Not as bold as what it appeared like in the glass. As the wine got to ambient room temperature, it seemed to get a little thin on the finish. Taste follows the nose. A nice little bottle. I would drink up now. This will not go the long distance.

    Smoked an El Credito

6/12/20, 6:53 PM - Full day decant! Now that is dedication. Love the licorice notes here - thanks for the timeline.

Great stick, too. Did you get any ginger notes from the first 1/3?

6/12/20, 8:53 PM - On the cigar I'm still trying to determine my tasting experience. It was my first go at the El Credito Trunk Show 2015 cigar. It's aged and mellow, and yes, I would say there were some ginger bread type notes during the first half the cigar. www.cigarchief.com has them right now. Cheers!
