June 20, 2020 - Appearance : pale ruby, with legs
On nose : pronounced intensity, red current, sour cherry, dark fruit skin, very significant tobacco leaves, lichorice, old pine oakiness, lovely aroma could be found.
On palate : med+ acidity, med to med+ intensity, sour red current, tobacco smokiness, tea leaves, med+ intensity on mid palate, med tannin and med alcohol and med body with some elegancy. Med+ finishing with some bitterness and subtle of spiciness aftertaste.
Overall speaking, this is a very good wine. Still a bit young. For me, the aroma is better than on palate. This wine is certainly able to have further development for the coming 5 years. I will wait for at least 3 more years to open my 2nd bottle. Cheers!1,012 views
