  June 21, 2020 - Popped'n poured with dinner at La Piquette, my favorite French bistro in the DC area. Upon opening, it has a bit of funk on the nose, which fortunately blew off by the time we were ready for it. Full-bodied, sweet fruit, pepper - just an outstanding bottle. Most likely at its peak. Just a great Chateauneuf du Pape.
