July 3, 2020 - Air for 3 hrs and put in fridge for 1 day.

    Appearance: medium ruby with legs

On nose : med+ intensity, red fruit : cherry, plum skin, dry sweet red date, dark fruit : blue date, tobacco, vanilla oak, lichorice, very pleasent aroma.

On palate : med+ intensity, red fruit : plum skin, and dark fruit on front palate, a very good structure with med+ intensity flavour, high but fine tannin on med palate. Sweet Tobacco leaves and savoury and white pepper spiciness with high alcohol(14.5% abv), full body and very contented.

It is a signature example of the Sangiovese in the style of Brunello Di Montalcino. Good match with steak and roasted pork. I love this wine and no regrets for Frescobaldi! Cheers!
