July 4, 2020 - From a magnum. Prominent oak with a touch of vanilla on the open, an Italian Camus. Needed a few hours to begin showing a complex and jammy sangio. Concentrated, big wine by any measure; plum, chocolate, dark cherry, earth, hint of ginger. Heat from the warm vintage is evident in the finish. Impressive, wait.

7/6/20, 5:15 PM - I am holding a magnum as well, thanks for the note. I alway wonder about how long it takes a wine like this to open up.

7/6/20, 8:48 PM - How odd. I too hold a magnum. For some reason in my area (Vancouver), 750ml bottles were scarce that release, so I grabbed a magnum which were plentiful. Thanks for the notes!
