  November 11, 2008 - I disagree with the others that said this should be drunk earlier. The bottle we had tonight may have been at its best but, given the big mouth of tannins we got, I think it could have lasted another 1yr to 2yr. We were very impresseed for such an inexpensive wine. There was lots of fruit, a touch of pepper, and still some tannin to pucker one up a bit.
  
  Having written that, let's be honest and say this is definately not a "wonderful" wine. It's rough but not wild. We had it with (vegetarian) mousaka and the complex tastes of the mousaka, the bechamel, etc, seemed to be a perfect paring: a rough, robust main-course complemented by a rough-complex wine.
  
  It's a great value and I'll buy another bottle to replace the 10yr old we just drank.
