Years ago, we were lucky enough to have Mathieu Lapierre pour multiple vintages of the sulfured and unsulfured Morgon cuvées side by side. As I recall, at around the 6 or 7 year aging mark, the preservative effects of the sulfur really became apparent, with the S bottles noticeably fresher than the N bottles from the same vintage. I've had good fortune with the 2009 out of both bottle and magnum as recently as last year, and I'm pretty sure they were sulfured.
