July 15, 2020 - Blood and citrus take front and center as The red fruits and blackberries recede, especially as compared to one year ago. This is entering its later phases with dignity and force. Arguably at its best right this minute but not petering out by any means.

7/16/20, 4:33 AM - Thanks for the note! I've got got one of these left and 2008 is my wedding anniversary year. Was thinking of popping at 15 year mark, but perhaps sooner.

7/16/20, 12:29 PM - Hi Projectgoboy and thanks! I see you've also got a Thomas '08 Dundee Hills. We found that to be a mind-blowing wine, definitely worthy of an anniversary. And I also thought it was flickering in and out over the last few years, so quite possibly better to enjoy sooner rather than later. For my palate, there's no reason to wait on either of these remarkable wines.
