July 18, 2020 - It must have been a hot vintage... the Sineann 2012 Resonance Reserve is dark in color, like a Sonoma Russian River PN, with an appealingly sweet nose of plums followed by hints of cracked walnuts and crushed mint. You find that sweetness up front on the ripe, lush palate, after which you pick up a less prominent tartness. The finish is fairly long, with satiny tannins and a saline note. Not the style I most often associate with this wine, but I like it a lot. Drinking extremely well now.
