July 18, 2020 - I must admit, along with Lagrange, this St. Julian holds a special place for yours truly. This is possibly my favorite vintage in quite some time. Black cherry, blackberry, currant, tobacco leaf, mineral and flower shop. Full in body and long in regards to finish. Deep and velvety tannins, that still keep the requisite focus. So good now, in a very surprising way. This classic wonder will age very well. There’s a welcomed wild side to this... Drink 2021 -.

7/19/20, 6:22 AM - Sounds great! I have been sampling my '16 BDX to see where they're at but am still waiting on my Beychevelles to arrive. Hung up overseas somehow :(
