  August 3, 2020 - Served two bottles at a wine dinner. There was a distinct bottle variance between the two. One was much more evolved with tobacco notes and dark cherries. The texture was silky. The nose reminded me of walking through a forest and kicking over mushrooms. The second bottle seemed to be dominated by the oak. The fruit was bold. It was almost like the bottle was five years younger. In summary, neither where my favorite expression of Brunello.
