  August 6, 2020 - Asperg Wine Syndrome Tasting Group: Summer tasting (Asperg): Tasted blind. Clear, pale golden color. Funky, strange but fascinating nose: resin, myrrh, juniper, rosemary, menthol. Never had anything like this before.
  On the palate rather lean, tart acidity and again extremely freaky: Earthy/soil notes, medicinal notes, menthol, wormwood, herbs, juniper. What is that? Do I like it? I don’t know. But certainly a very interesting wine. Good length. Very interesting experience! 87-88
