August 14, 2020 - Didn't have much time to decant but still drank beautifully with notes of cassis, saddle leather, mocha, and little spice all interwoven in a harmonious balance with tightly knit tannins. Long satisfying finish. Saxum never disappoints!

8/15/20, 6:36 PM - Totally agree Markcic! Saxum, as well as a few other Napa wineries like Peter Michael, Schrader Cellars, and Abreu somehow find a way to hit it out of the park every year - I don't know how they do it but I'm thankful. Enjoy your next bottle of Saxum!
