August 21, 2020 - Dense and bite vibrant ruby. Nose of vanilla, mulberry and plum. Finely velvety and quite plushly rounded fruit. Maybe not quite the padding nor density on the finish for top flight but nonetheless a very decent Rioja in the young/fruity style. Nothing here to dissuade me from focusing on Ardanza and 904 though, but others will find it an attractive style and wine. ****

11/16/20, 1:48 AM - Thank you for sharing your note. I am inclined to agree with you. If I am on a tight budget or am seeking a Rioja for more casual drinking I would opt for the Ardanza, and if I want a top class Rioja for my weekend I would rather put in the extra ten bucks to get the structure and concentration of the 904. That puts the Arana in a tough spot from a marketing perspective. But I am sure it has its fans. Cheers!
