Tremendous nose, jumping right out of the glass: notes of violet and rose blend together with such intensity that you are transported right in the fields with a beautiful variety of blooming flowers.
All of this is envelopped by berry jelly, cranberry jam, a touch of spring sweetness... magnificent.

Very intense and compact on the palate, there is serious fruit, integrated wood, undeniable acidity and serious tannins here for a Pinot Noir. Direct, punchy and vibrant - definitely young.
Raspberry liqueur, wild blueberry, earth and lavender water are also present, an impressive palette of flavors overall.
This is certainly still concentrated taste-wise, but the aromatics on the nose really steal the show: they are truly incredible... such subtlety, finesse: pure beauty.

This will develop into something even more special than it already is when every element finds its groove.
Everything for this process to happen is already captured in the bottle.

Outstanding effort and what an hommage this is to the late Mr. Mascarello.
