August 28, 2020 - Relatively plain, the kind of a Napa cab they sell in Europe. Fruit forward, very much so. Tannins are pretty round. Might be more of them after all the fruit fades. Sort of in between red and blackberryish purple fruit. Even some cocoa. Easy on the palate, does not linger very long. Not much acid, could be mistaken for some merlots. But I like merlots. So a decent weekday warrior but at best modest QPR. Easy drinker. Winery is in Oakville, but the grapes are sourced from all over Napa. Not a lot going on, probably not enough of structure to age that well.
