  August 30, 2020 - Medium ruby. On the nose aromas of medium intensity with sour red cherries, cranberries, dried oregano, dried purnes, forrest floor, violets. on the palate the wine is dry with medium + acidity, medium tannins smooth, medium alcohol, body is medium and flavor intensity medium with sour red cherries, cranberries, dried oregano, dried prunes, forrest floor, violets. The length on the finish is medium plus with some fresh cherries lingering. This is a very good wine demonstrating complexity with red fruit, dried fruit herbs, tertiary aromas, floral aromas. The medium + acidity is balanced by the fruit nature and alcohol and tannins well integrated. The finish is medium plus and pleasant. This is an excellent example of ripasso and more pleasing than most.
