September 6, 2020 - Bought on release and have cellared since. Every time I taste the Palomas I think of sitting in Barb and Jim’s kitchen drinking these fabulous wines while petting their dog. These wines just keep getting better and better.it still amazes me. Yes, it has dark plum and other strong, dark fruits, but when just the taste and smell of the wine 18 years later brings back such amazing memories - you know this wine was made with love and care by two special people.

I managed to beg my way into her mailing list back in 2005...I think that they broke the mold on people of her kind, but every once in a while, we are lucky enough to meet one. * Her and I bonded over my ownership of 18 bottles of the 1994 vintage, which she was very curious about. That wine was one of my first moments of enlightenment. Whoever hates Merlot, doesn't really know wine...IMO that is :-)
