  September 9, 2020 - Bottle open for a few hours. Built like a tank, with a reticent nose of dark blue and purple fruit, graphite, smoke, herbs and spice. There's a higher tone quality underneath that keeps things lifted, also is a promising sign of its future. Despite the initial fruit forward hit on opening, this is built like a good Bordeaux, and not super enjoyable so young. Teeth coating tannin.
  Hints of the layers and quality here, certainly well built, I'll be interested to see how things evolve with the following vintages with more of the vineyard. 2025-2040
