Community Tasting Note

  • Decanting Queen Does not like this wine: 86 points

September 11, 2020 - Was looking for something quick and easy to pnp with a steak, simple would have been fine. But this was not only simple and boring, but had a slightly metallic off taste. Improved slightly with air but was not drinkable for me. Gave it to my non-discerning (when it come to wine) husband and even he left half the bottle.

Since then, I've found more pleasure in their '13, '14. '15 Millenium and Leonardini vineyards. Really good for the piece, especially when you get them at auction discounts. I believe they have a new winemaker in the past year or so and I haven't had any of his wines. I may have to re-visit there on my next trip.

Exactly what you might expect from a mediocre wine list with a few by the glass selections. But I thought the bottle could have been open awhile or whatever. But finally opening this bottle, it was just like a bad cheap wine in a restaurant. Not sure I’d be up for trying more.
