  September 21, 2020 - Hand carried this back from a trip to Mendoza 3 years ago. A very unique expression of Malbec, this comes from the high altitude vineyards of Salta in the north, so likely different if you're used to drinking traditional Malbecs. While there's the typical blueberries and violets on the nose, the blue fruit on the palate is quickly followed by some salinity and a rush of olive tapenade. This reminds me of some Ridge Monte Bellos I've had recently (a good thing!) Day 1 flavors more prominent than day 2, so would recommend drinking after a decent decant on Day 1.
