September 24, 2020 - At the darker end of pale ruby with quite a powerful nose of red and black cherries, strawberry, dried rose petals, violets and fresh vegetal, herby notes, from the stems.
In the mouth a slight petillance, the rose petals are more pronounced then there’s sour red cherry, just under ripe black cherry, blackberry, black tea, liquorice and a fresh, slightly resinous, herbal, steminess, a little vanilla and a touch of earth. Tannins have a ripe grippiness, there’s mouthwatering acidity and a nice slight bitterness on the finish. Really lovely2 people found this helpful 839 views
