September 24, 2020 - No detailed notes since doing this from memory. A surprisingly refined wine, good acidity and none of the flabbiness some Carignan wines suffer from. Had more a day later which showed more strawberry and less spice than before. Also, acidity was starting to become unbalanced after a day of air. So let’s say this is meant for relatively early consumption. Right now it should have about an hour of slow o before serving. Screams out for food accompaniment- aged manchego in our case. Classy. Great value.
