  November 26, 2008 - Bright red with a touch of rust. Sweet, dark fruit on the nose. The alcohol seems quite a bit higher than 12.5% specified on the bottle (I would guess 14 - 14.5 %). Blueberry, cherry. vanilla, and graphite. Tart, acidic finish that mellows out with an trace of tobacco. Overall, a pleasant bottle to have, but not a spectacular one. Who would have thought that Sardinia would produce something like this?
