Community Tasting Note

October 1, 2020 - I reviewed this 15 months ago and scored it 93. It’s lost a point for me in the mouth, and gained a point in the nose, so I’m keeping this at a cautious 93. What a nose! I imagined I was buried in a deep pile of wet leaves and composting mint shrubs and tempted out by a spicy Mexican chocolate bar. On a farm, surrounded by cow pies. Love that bouquet! Those who have commented that the texture isn’t up to LMHB exemplars, with its soft attack, encroaching heat and sense of dilution toward the finish, are correct. Better w food, particularly a simple grilled ribeye, or lamb chop. Decanted an hour. Drink over next six years, no radical change expected here.,
